Equip your workforce with essential knowledge and skills through our comprehensive training program. Our staff will guide participants in identifying and demonstrating legislative requirements for safe systems of working at heights.

​Participants will gain in-depth insights into the hazards associated with using fall arrest systems. They will learn how to check, fit, and proficiently use safety harness systems. Moreover, our training emphasizes the critical aspect of developing fall prevention and fall restraint systems using a harness.

This training is recommended for workers operating at any height, be it on ladders, scaffolds, or trestles. It's required for those to use harnesses for Fall Prevention/Restraint (23229) or Fall Arrest (15757) situations. This includes scenarios involving being caught after a fall has occurred or when using any other height equipment as standard practice within their workplace.
Workers credited with these unit standards are able to:

demonstrate knowledge of the hazards associated with harness and associated equipment;

demonstrate knowledge of safety harnesses and associated systems and equipment;

check and fit a safety harness system;

use a safety harness system where a fall hazard exists at height;
-
demonstrate knowledge of the rescue plan to be implemented in the event of a fall.

NZQA Unit Standards Include:

US 23229: Use a safety harness for personal fall prevention when working at height (4 Credits); a prerequisite to further sessions.

US 15757: Use, install, and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems when working at height (4 Credits)
