

Elevated Work Platforms

Course Information:

Staff will gain hands-on experience assessing worksites and preparing to use trailer-mounted boom lifts, self-propelled lifts. Participants will actively engage in workplace operations, learn to identify and report faults and damages, and master the correct shutdown procedures for both trailer-mounted and self-propelled boom lifts.

​This training is required for operators seeking comprehensive knowledge and certification to operate MEWPs.
Workers credited with these unit standards are able to:

NZQA Unit Standards Include:

US 23229: Use a safety harness for personal fall prevention when working at height (4 Credits); a prerequisite to further sessions.

US 15757: Use, install, and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems when working at height (4 Credits)
