People credited with this unit standard are able to provide first aid. Furthermore, People credited with 6402 are able to: provide basic life support, manage a foreign body airway obstruction, manage first aid for life threatening bleeding, and provide first aid management for a person in shock. People credited with 6400 are able to manage first aid in an emergency situation.

Learn to assess and manage a wide range of emergencies, including shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, and more.
