About The Course:
(1/2 Day)
Our first aid course will help you to gain the confidence to provide 1st aid when it may be required. You will learn to assess and manage a patient for: shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries, poisonings, heart attack, asthma, stroke, seizure and diabetes.
You will also be able to provide basic life support through CPR and management of a foreign body airway obstruction (choking).
Recommended for everyone
(If required) NZQA unit standards included:
US 6401 Provide first aid (1 credit)
US 6402 Provide resuscitation level 2 (1 credit)
